  1. What did you do this past week?
This past week was somewhat unproductive — although I found a partner for the Life project for CS371P and I met with my group for the IDB project to allocate the tasks that remain.
  2. What’s in your way?
Nothing is in my way at this point. Next week should be fairly productive!
  3. What will you do next week?
Next week I plan on starting on the Life project for CS371P and working on the final phase of the IDB project! It’s exciting to be approaching the end of the semester once again!
  4. If you read it, what did you think of THE NEW METHODOLOGY?
I did not read this week’s paper, The New Methodology.
  5. What was your experience of SQL?
My experience with SQL was great! I feel like I have a very good grasp of the concepts we covered in class, and I’m looking forward to seeing additional ways to utilize the tools provided to us by SQL!
  6. What made you happy this week?
This week I finished the Mafia: Definitive Edition remake and began working on Dishonored 2! I had some trouble getting it to run at first, but having gotten past those issues, I’m really looking forward to playing Dishonored 2, as I was a huge fan of the first game and Arkane Studios has consistently put out some of my favorite games! Additionally, my PS5 was delivered this Friday, so I’m glad I don’t have to worry about whether my order would be canceled or placed on backorder.
  7. What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
My tip of the week is to check out Humble Bundles! While most of the bundles that are sold are game bundles, there are frequently eBook and software bundles that go live that allow you to obtain the contents of the bundle permanently for a fraction of the MSRP. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds goes to various charities depending on the bundle! I have been keeping up with the service for a couple of years now, and the money I have saved on software, eBooks, and games has been tremendous.
